That advertisement was bizarre, for all the reasons you listed - why would that make anyone consider coming back? The announcements that followed haven’t inspired either…

The sticker feature/bug(?) is SO annoying. Also I’ll occasionally click on one of my friends only to be taken to a completely different friend’s page, have you encountered that one?

Sorry for missing your comment until now! It seems the sticker interface has been fixed/reverted with the latest update. I'm not sure I ever encountered the other bug, tbh, though I will note that the previous friend's avatar would sometimes load briefly when going to a new profile. Gotta love those visual glitches.

Speaking of avatars, we now know that the new avatar system is part of this #RediscoverGO campaign, and reactions to this feature have been, er, strong. I'm not convinced we're even getting the final product, so I'll wait before committing a whole post to it, but it's certainly the story of the week and worth a review.

This was a very good article. It was succinct, to the point, entertaining and interesting. Thanks for sharing this with us (me)! 🥰

Yeah, I figured you'd like it because it was shorter. 😂

“In all likelihood, who cares.” That made me legit lol.

I’ve got every poke up til stupid Torkoal which I’ve only seen one of. Tropius? One. Hortail? One. Relicanth? One. And I don’t even know what 383 and 384 are. Where are these MFs???

In lighter news, my kid made a Bidoof at Build A Bear today. I can’t attach a picture, but there is some good in the world

#383 and #384 are Groudon and Rayquaza. I guess you're going to have to wait until they come around again. I myself am missing Relicanth from Gen 3 and I'm basically conceding I will never get one at this point since it's Regional.

Re your kid building a Bidoof, I didn't even know that was a thing. The only option I can think of would be to upload to Google Drive and post a link, but don't do it if there are privacy concerns therein (plus that sounds like a lot of work, LOL).
