I guess technically it's Scopely now, but either way, yeah, the wait continues. During this transitional period, I've been using the phrase "the Pokémon GO team" more, as they reportedly brought them all over from Niantic as a whole. Which is good for the team, I suppose, but I don't know if that's necessarily good for the game.
Dude, I've been feeling much better since getting on Morpeko! Ask your doctor about it today!
I do always laugh when I have to google how to beat some stupid Giovanni thing, and the best counters are all Legendary or Dark or Magical or whatever and I'm like, "so...Machamp and the candlestick one?" I get how in-universe it makes sense that the Legendaries are daddy macks but it doesn't really make for a fun game haha
Hmm, I've heard about some nasty side effects with Morpeko. 😂
The glut at the top of the Master League rankings of Legendary and Mythical Pokémon begs the inclusion of Master League Premier Cup (no Legendaries, Mythicals, or Ultra Beasts allowed) for at least one week per season, and it probably deserves two. I'd much rather half a month of MLP than a fortnight of Scroll Cup or Spring Cup.
Gotta love the defenders of flawed systems. They know it sucks but since they make content from the flawed system they don’t dare go against it. They don’t want their content teat to dry up.
But yeah, I completely agree, especially the “you can win” section. Like, sure I could play, but I wouldn’t be competitive to the level I can be in other leagues, so why would I?
This being said, at least there’s separate leagues for the P2W players. Have you tried TCG pocket ranked mode? Absolutely brutal.
Agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments in your other comment. Bruh, I have a full-time job with a commute. You're going to call me lazy because I'm not doing more Raids, when the real reason I don't do them is that I'm F2P? Hell to the no. It's like when I reacted to that comment about Master League not being for the casuals or the "brokies." Just admit that you want to succeed by playing within a watered-down field and save us both time.
I haven't done any PvP battles in TCG, by the by. Not only do I feel like I do enough PvP with PoGO, LOL, but I've been putting a lot of time lately into Balatro. Highly recommend, although it is a bit addicting—fair warning.
Ugh. The worst is when OML players accuse non-players of being lazy. I wrote this in response to someone calling all non-players lazy, because it had been described as a “rich boy” league:
You are making assumptions, based on your privilege, that do not apply to everyone.
New players exist. Rural players exist. Disabled players exist. Carers exist. Players with mental health problems exist.
These players won’t feel great when they read that they’re casual or lazy.
You’re seemingly offended by it being called a “rich boy” league, but have given no thought to how your words might offend.
Oh brother! The eternal wait for Niantic to fix this game! When will it happen? Who knows?

Whoops, didn’t mean to press send.

OH I saw another comment you made about Balatro just as the Steam sale was ending, I nearly bought it just off that! Maybe next time ☺️
